Anal Toys

Comfort and safety come first. Every anal toy should have a flared base or retrieval ring so it cannot travel too far. Start small, go slowly and use plenty of lube, as the body does not produce its own lubrication there. A thicker water-based anal lube is the most versatile choice; silicone lube lasts longer but should not be used on silicone toys unless the maker says it is compatible.

Material is worth thinking about. Silicone, metal and glass are non-porous, so they clean thoroughly and are a good long-term investment. Jelly and PVC toys are cheaper but more porous; use a condom over them for easier cleaning and replace them if they become sticky or discoloured.
