Kegel balls and training beads are popular for pelvic floor awareness. They can be a pleasant addition to a routine, but they are not a substitute for professional advice; if you have pelvic floor concerns, the NHS has guidance on pelvic floor exercises, and your GP can refer you to a women’s health physiotherapist. Start with the lightest weight and do not wear them for long periods.

Nipple clamps should be applied gently, adjusted to a comfortable pressure and removed after a short time; sensation often increases when they come off. Menstrual cups come in sizes based on age, flow and whether you have given birth vaginally, so check the size guide carefully.

Wash every toy before first use and after each use with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner.
